MORNINGS: MUSIC AND ART ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
Explore the world of musical instruments, theatre and art.  Program includes introductory group lessons in keyboard, violin or percussion, and ends with a performance for family and friends.

Children will gain experience in improvisation, theatre exercises, singing, and movement.  Program ends with a performance of “Babes in Westchester.”

SUMMER THEATER WORKSHOP
An exciting total theatre experience for aspiring young theatre artists.  Taught by professional Broadway directors and teaching artists, students learn theatre skills, explore their creativity, discover the true ensemble spirit of theatre and celebrate their individual creative muse.  Each session ends in a staged performance at the White Plains Performing Arts Center.

SUMMER VOCAL ACADEMY FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Gain an awareness of healthy vocal technique and other essential skills which are the foundation for a range of vocal styles, including classical/opera, musical theatre, jazz and gospel. Curriculum includes private voice lessons; rhythm, diction and acting classes; body awareness and vocal health classes; and performance opportunities.
Ages 14 and up

HIP HOP ACADEMY
An eight-week training program followed by touring program to 10 community and public school performances and showcases throughout the county from July through November. Auditions will be held Saturdays, April 21 and 28 at 11 a.m. at the Conservatory.

2008 Laurentian Summer Festival
Founded in 1978, the intensive chamber music program for young musicians is in residence at the Conservatory each summer. It includes private lessons, ensembles, chamber music, string orchestra, theory and chorus.
