The Conservatory serves as a community gathering place for the performing arts, partnering with more than 50 community organizations to provide outreach programs, workshops and performances both at the Conservatory and in the Community. We provide music and music therapy programs in partnership with 34 organizations, including 10 public school districts, 5 special education and after-school programs, 4 therapeutic preschools, 2 children’s hospitals, 7 nursing homes and senior residences, and 6 programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Our students and faculty perform more than 30 free educational concerts each year in the community at libraries, community centers and at public events. In addition, the Steffi Nossen Dance School, Westchester Choral Society, and New Westchester Symphony are in residence in our building.
