Audition for the Westchester Choral Society!

The Westchester Choral Society—the longest continuously performing chorus in Westchester County—proudly serves as the chorus-in-residence for the Music Conservatory of Westchester. They partner with the Conservatory and rehearse there every week.

The Choral Society is welcoming singers in all voice sections. To schedule a singer-friendly audition, please see Numa Rousseve at one of their Tuesday evening rehearsals or contact him directly at (914) 285–9026.

If you’d prefer to experience the music from the audience, join the Choral Society for their spring concert Sunday, May 19, at the Chapel at Maryknoll in Ossining, New York. The performance will include music of Schubert and Brahms, including Schubert’s Miriam's Song of Triumph and Brahms’ Na╠łnie.

The Westchester Choral Society is performing Carmina Burana by Carl Orff as part of its Gala 75th Anniversary Concert. The performance will be Saturday, May 13, 2017,at White Plains Presbyterian Church.

Westchester Choral Society Will Perform a Memorial Tribute to P. Rosemary Peeler

Westchester Choral Society performs D V O R A K in a memorial tribute to P. Rosemary Peeler, a former member and violinist whose love for life was found in the joy of music and caring service to others. Under the direction of Frank Nemhauser, the chorus will perform "Mass in D Major," an exquisite work rich in melodic and harmonic imagery reflecting Dvorak's true joy of life, together with inspirational Songs from American Gospel and Spiritual Roots depicting love and hope through the trials of slavery. "Romance in F Minor" for violin and piano will be presented as well.

The performance will be Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 4 pm, Rye Presbyterian Church, 882 Boston Post Road, Rye, N.Y. Reception and Silent Auction follow. Admission $25 General/$10 Students, available at the door or visit www.westchesterchoralsociety.org
