All New Music Theory Class for Adult Students

 Friday, June 02, 2017
We are pleased to announce a NEW Music Theory Class for Adult Students starting Fall 2017

Mondays 7:30-8:25 with Dr. David Kim

For the first time in fall semester 2017, a special section of music theory will be offered exclusively for our adult students. Taught by the Conservatory’s esteemed faculty member Dr. David Kim, the class will take a non-traditional approach to the teaching of basic theoretical concepts, putting them in the context of historical developments in music and the world.

The objective of this course is to deepen each student’s fundamental understanding of music theory, essential harmonic principles, and compositional structure, referencing the masterworks of the great composers and ultimately enhancing both the quality of the students’ personal musical performance and their enjoyment and appreciation of music.

Please contact the Registrar’s Office (song@musiced.org) to register for the next school year.
