Statement of Teaching Philosophy: “My teaching methods include classical, jazz and popular styles of music. I emphasize learning to read music, basic theory, technique and sound production. Improvisation never needs to be overwhelming because it starts with changing just one note. It is my hope that students find getting better at piano to be fun and challenging.”
