Born in: Niagara Falls, NY

Performances and Distinctions: Member of the ‘Scape Trio which performs chamber music influenced by the work of living visual artists.  Ms. Pera participated in the landmark performance of American Grain, produced by Torn Space Theater and taking place inside the largest grain elevator on the complex known as Silo City in Buffalo, NY.  She has been a cellist with the Slee Sinfonietta, Principal Cellist with the Symphony Orchestras of Toronto and Buffalo Universities, and a member of the Parkdale Revolutionary Orchestra – a contemporary rock band.  Ms. Pera has participated in the International Bach Festival, directed by Maestro Helmuth Rilling, and in the “June in Buffalo” Series, an annual festival of contemporary music hosting notables such as Steve Reich.  She has taught at School of the Holy Child (Rye, NY), Rye Arts Center, and Jewish Community Center of Westchester.
