Sarah Wetherbee, assistant dean at the Music Conservatory, has taught at the Levine School of Music, the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, Gettysburg College and Frederick Community College.

She has performed with many ensembles both in the United States and Europe including the Spoleto Festival, Schleswig Holstein Musick Festival, Ives String Quartet, National String Quartet, National Symphony Orchestra, National Philharmonic, Washington Concert Opera, Washington Bach Consort, Folger Consort, Opera Lafayette, Violins of Lafayette, Modern Musick, Four Nations Ensemble, and Aradia. Sarah founded and directed Fiori Musicali, a period instrumental group formerly in-residence at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, MD.

She received her B.M. from the Curtis Institute of Music and a D.M.A. from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University in 2002. Sarah resides in Sleepy Hollow.

Conservatory faculty are all highly skilled and experienced teachers. Teachers are assigned to maximize the learning experience of each student taking into account the students musical interests and goals, age and scheduling needs.

Jun Luke for 12 years and his acceptance to Juilliard School of Music is a great sign of his musical maturity and accomplishment. He was also accepted to Harvard and Yale. Benjamin was with me for five years. He won a prestigious $40,000 scholarship from Skidmore College for music studies. He was the only pianist in that competition who received this award. He was also accepted at Tufts University. It is very satisfying to know that our students continue to achieve such success."
