Tatiana Feigin, a native of Russia, started studying the violin at age 7 and at age 11 performed at the Kremlin Concert Hall in a program that was broadcast on Russian television. She received her bachelors degree at Moscow Conservatory and her masters degree at St. Petersburg Conservatory. After immigrating to Israel and performing with the Haifa Symphony, she came to New York, where she regularly performs as a member of the Rachmaninoff Trio and the Feigin Duo (with her brother, a pianist). She has appeared with these groups at Merkin Hall, Weill Recital Hall, on WQXR radio, and on tour in Germany, the Netherlands and Italy.

Tatiana has many years of experience teaching students of different ages and levels of experience. She uses an individualized approach to teaching each student and focuses on encouraging their natural abilities. “The most important thing in teaching the violin is to impart to the student a love and appreciation of music, and to develop the necessary technical skills for the student to express him/herself.”

Tatiana served for many years on the faculty of the Newark School of the Arts, the Mid-Westchester JCC, and the Rockland Conservatory of Music.

"I am very happy and proud of Jun Luke Foster’s and Benjamin Boventer’s achievements. I taught
Jun Luke for 12 years and his acceptance to Juilliard School of Music is a great sign of his musical maturity and accomplishment. He was also accepted to Harvard and Yale. Benjamin was with me for five years. He won a prestigious $40,000 scholarship from Skidmore College for music studies. He was the only pianist in that competition who received this award. He was also accepted at Tufts University. It is very satisfying to know that our students continue to achieve such success."
